Kristin Fischer is set to join CNN as its Space and Defense Correspondent in July 2021. In her role as Correspondent for Defence and Space at CNN, she has for covering all aspects of space, from NASA and its recently created Space Force up until commercial space-related companies and the advent and growth in space travel. Kristin's parents were both NASA astronauts. Kristin spent her childhood in space, and she has since been a White House reporter for FOX News reporting on the Trump and Biden Administrations regarding space-related issues. Kristin also reported on impeachment hearings for President Trump as well as the presidential campaign for 2020 as well as efforts of two administrations in order to combat the Coronavirus pandemic. Additionally, she went on trips with President Trump and Vice President Trump frequently. This included a secret visit to Afghanistan. Kristin worked her way through the regional news market of Grand Junction, Colorado, Little Rock, Arkansas, as well as Washington, D.C. for more than a decade prior to becoming a part of the network.
